Sugar House Hotel

Sugar House Hotel opened in November 2026 in Winooski, Vermont, as Marriott’s first all-electric, net-zero energy and LEED Platinum hotel in the world. The 115-room hotel sits where a 104-acre nature preserve meets downtown Winooski, a lively and culturally diverse city in the Greater Burlington area. Its design celebrates Vermont craftsmanship: a 20-foot maple tree stands in the lobby, and each guest room is named for a local sugarhouse. Guests are welcomed with a make-your-own maple creemee and can dine on the roof at Treetops Restaurant. Fathom Companies provided pre-opening technical services and now operates the hotel. Winooski’s restaurants, shops and arts scene are just steps away, and downtown Burlington is only minutes from the front door.
